Meijs and the Lobster
Gemmy shows how she is doing when she goes ‘out of the box’ with her next project Meijs and the Lobster. Her daughter figures in this project, in which Gemmy applies a different methodology to achieve the desired image. In this way, she shows that it pays to explore new ways and to investigate how you can make the most of your creativity by innovating and growing as a photographer.
How the image Treasure Hunt was created
Sometimes it is not possible to use a model during a shoot. But you do want to be able to tell a story through images or at least want to create an image. In this case, Gemmy has hardly prepared herself. So she didn’t make a storyboard but just started from the idea of what she had in her head. The choice was made for a so-called still life. The advantage is that there is no need for a model, or a make-up artist, or a hairstylist, etc. What the result of this way of working is shown Gemmy with the following video.
Project Tempus – The Circle of Life
Fine Art photographer Gemmy will inspire you with her project Tempus. She will explain what her workflow meant to achieve this beautiful result. What steps were needed to achieve the desired image she had in mind. Of course, the post-processing will also come along. Gemmy will take you with her on her creative journey.
