Macro photography changed the way I see the world.
When I first discovered macro 10 years ago, I felt like a whole new world had opened up for me.
It allowed me to slow down and truly see and appreciate the beauty that is around me every single minute of every single day. In fact, these days I can spot interesting details to photograph all around me, without even having to leave my home!
But my first macro photos were less than impressive. (I truly did think my macro lens must be broken because it didn’t seem to get the tack-sharp macro images I wanted!)
There ARE some special considerations for macro (as your exposure settings, your focusing techniques and use of lighting are all different) but the good news is, once you learn these simple tweaks, macro becomes a heck of a lot easier, and you’ll get much better results.
