Whether you are just beginning your photography journey, a makeup artist
wanting to shoot your own content or an intermediate photographer looking to learn
how to shoot beauty and retouch your own images, then this is the right course for you.
What you will learn?
This course is specifically designed for individuals wanting to learn more about how to achieve a great beauty image, step by step, from makeup to retouching.
I have decided to come up with a course that will cover everything you need to know about beauty photography, all in one place, in the order of my own personal workflow. This way you can follow either, the written, or video guide, step by step until you achieve a completed image.
Firstly, internationally renowned Makeup Artist, James Malloy will walk you through his “beauty makeup routine” including tips and tricks for the perfect skin for beauty photography.
James is one the best and has worked with some of the worlds biggest brands and designers, such as MAC, Rimmel, Stella McCartney and his work showcased magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Elle. James has also run his own make up school for many years.
Makeup plays a key role in accomplishing a natural looking skin and maintaining the texture in your images.
Next I will talk about shooting beauty and you will also receive two different lighting diagrams, with directions on the optimal settings for your camera and the best gear for it.
You will then have a full video workflow covering my retouching, where you will learn how to:
retain the texture
eyes, mouth and makeup editing
Included are two RAW images that you can use as practice files, a set of actions and two colour LUTs.
As everything is shown step by step, this will make the lessons suitable for both beginners and intermediate.
